Our story
Sir Alex Ferguson
Sir Alex politely turned us down twice through his personal assistant.
We accepted the explanation that he had significant health complications affecting his memory and that he didn’t have a clear recollection of events from 30 years ago. However, we eventually found a way to get him in front of the camera. In the end, it was his son Jason – “a fellow filmmaker” and documentary director – who was able to persuade him.

Arséne Wenger
For almost two years, we had been trying to secure a date to finally be accepted at FIFA headquarters. On April 12, 2023 in Zurich, we arrived perfectly prepared for an interview that was supposed to last 30 minutes. In the end, it turned into more than two hours of memories and, most of all, a dream come true! To witness an Arsenal jersey with the iconic 49er being signed was a rare and luxurious experience.
Roy Hodgson
He was the only one who changed and postponed the already agreed-upon deadline – /November 15, 2022, in Richmond, London/.
But when the day came, he was all the more dedicated, as he was no longer coaching Crystal Palace.
We expected him to arrive in a limousine with a security guard or personal chauffeur, but instead, he quietly waited for us at the reception of a top hotel – having just taken a long walk.
It turned out to be a pleasant afternoon over a cup of tea – and an extraordinary experience.

José Mourinho
Our first post-COVID trip took us to the AS Roma training centre on September 28, 2022.
It was an extremely complex and risky endeavour – and the tension on set reflected that.
José was the first of all the interviewees, and truly the “Special One”.
Although the club manager abruptly ended the agreed 30-minute interview at the 25-minute mark, it still made a powerful statement. We believed that if we could land a star like him, others would gradually follow – and they did!
Back in the heart of Rome, we celebrated in true “Hollywood style”, feeling that this was the beginning of something extraordinary.
Aleksander Čeferin
The cooperation with UEFA has culminated in an official partnership, as demonstrated by the fact that the President of UEFA himself sat in front of the camera! November 9, 2022, in Nyon.
What more could we ask for?
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and truly appreciate it.

Ján Kováčik
At our very first meeting in the spring of 2022, he just sat quietly and admitted that he was surprised by the scale of the project and our plans. As we gradually shared previews from the shoot with him, he became increasingly excited and helpful.
The Slovak Football Association (SFZ) is an official partner of the film – a historic first for Slovakia.
We are also thrilled that, with the help of Dr. Jan Telensky, we were able to add a bronze bust of our legend to the SFZ Hall of Fame!
Petr Fousek
This film is a federal project, and we are pleased to have been received by the President of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) in Prague on April 4, 2025.
The successes of the Czechoslovak national team, along with memories from legends like Antonín Panenka and Ivan Hašek, completed the mosaic of recollections from this glorious
period.

ANTONÍN PANENKA
In world football, the name “Panenka” has become a brand. Tonda shared memories from the federal era, when no distinctions were made between Slovaks and Czechs in the booth. The Czechoslovak football school had a remarkable appeal worldwide.
IVAN HAŠEK
A football globetrotter, for whom the 1990 World Cup in Italy was a career breakthrough. As both a player and a coach, he experienced numerous successes at the club and national level.

VLADIMÍR WEISS st.
The coaching matador continues to draw on the lessons Mr. Vengloš taught him. No one in Slovakia has won more “Coach of the Year” awards.
ĽUBOMÍR MORAVČÍK
Who knows how his career would have unfolded if the famous Celtic Glasgow hadn’t come calling? An international who has always entertained the fans, he knows all too well how tough it is in the British Isles.
